This place is a real hidden gem. As we wanted to sit outside the owner had dragged a table especially for us and we were sat in a cosy place between some lovely willows! He's put a white table cloth for us and was ever do friendly that we trusted him with our food order not knowing exactly what's it gonna be... He brought us beautiful platter of cold cuts, cheese, olives, sundried tomatoes and bruschetta and seeing that we love everything he kept bringing more stuff! Everything was local produce, I especially liked cute, tiny little artichokes in olive oil.
The view from here is stunning - you can see both mainland Italy and Etna vulcano from one spot! Because of the high altitude the weather is much milder with very pleasant breeze which makes the outdoor dining experience absolutely perfect! The host is ever so friendly, speaks a bit English and German....
